Acting Managing Director of National Housing Corporation Elizabeth Bowada’s court case has been adjourned to this Thursday.

Waigani Committal Court Chief Magistrate Mark Pupaka adjourned the matter to give time for police prosecutors to respond to Bowada's submissions on sufficiency of evidence.

Bowada was charged with one count of misappropriation, one count of false pretense and one count of abuse of office.

Police say between April 24, 2018 and January 15, 2020, Bowada dishonestly applied for her own use of K118, 486.01 belonging to NHC.

She is currently on a K1, 500 court bail.
