The Commander NCD/Central and Assistant Commissioner of Police Anthony Wagambie Junior commenced Station visits in this command starting at Gerehu and then on to Waigani Police Stations yesterday.

He was not there to inspect the station only but to talk to members on Ethical Conduct.

Mr Wagambie Junior said it is important that Police personnel improve in their conduct towards the public and that they must always remember their Police Code of Ethics.

The Code of Ethics, according to Wagambie Junior, will guide them to do what is both morally and ethically right, as members of the Constabulary.

He said more than half of the constabulary's problems and allegations  stem from Police misbehaviour.

His visit to the stations with his AFP Counterparts were to remind members of this and deliver enlarged framed Police Code of Ethics to be placed at the Duty Counter to remind members everyday of their purpose of being in the RPNGC.
