26 year old Bhosip Kaiwi who is accused of murdering his partner Jennellyn Kennedy on June 23 was taken out of the Boroko Police Station cells and is now in a cell at Bomana Jail.

According to the Police yesterday Mr Kaiwi was not transfered up to Bomana because it was late  and that the CSI  do not accept transfer of remandees after 4PM.

This caused another public outcry with many questioning why he was not moved as soon as possible.

The Police Media unit took pictures of Mr Kaiwi leaving the Boroko police cell and getting into a vehicle which took him the Correctional Services Institute's Bomana Prison.

In other pictures taken and shared on Social Media FACEBOOK. Mr Kaiwi is being handed to the Warders at the Bomana prison. He is seen escorted into a cell block where he will be kept isolated for two weeks before he is moved into the main compound.

The isolation procedure is part of the Correctional Services COVID19 protocol for prisoners and remandees.
